Financial Assistance to Commercial Tiatr Troupes/Directors/Producers for Stage Setting
The scheme aims to encourage all round development of the Tiatr in all aspects by providing encouragement to commercial tiatr directors and producers to bring in development in stage setting, addressing the need for improved theatrical infrastructure and production quality.
๐ค Eligibility
- The applicant must have been on the commercial tiatr stage for at least five years.
- The applicant must have five years experience on the commercial tiatr stage along with the application.
- The applicant must be a commercial tiatr troupe, director, or producer.
- Selection Process
- A maximum of six commercial tiatr troupes/directors/producers will be selected annually.
- If more than six applicants apply, selection will be decided by way of lots.
- Remaining applicants will be wait listed and provided with financial assistance in the following financial year.
- In case of withdrawal by any selected applicant, the next applicant on the waiting list will be given preference for allotment.

- Financial assistance as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa will be provided to six commercial tiatr troupes/directors/producers annually for stage setting development.
- Disbursal is made only upon completion of fifteen performances of the tiatr mentioned in the application.
- Payment is processed as a one-time benefit per beneficiary.
- *Tiatr Academy of Goa logo must be displayed on the front visible frames of the stage set.
- *The stage set designed under this scheme cannot be given on hire to others.
- *No adverse remarks against any individual, government, or political parties are permitted during the use of the set.
- *Work on the stage set must commence only after receiving written approval from Tiatr Academy of Goa.

Financial Assistance To Dairy Farmers Belonging To Scheduled Tribes And Scheduled Caste For Purchase Of Basic Dairy Equipments
The scheme aims to provide assistance to the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste communities for the purchase of basic dairy equipments needed to run a small scale dairy farming, and to encourage the tribal population to adopt Animal Husbandry activities, especially Dairy Development Schemes.
๐ค Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Goa for at least five preceding years.
- The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe or Scheduled Caste Community.
- The applicant must be a Dairy Farmer.
- The applicant must have at least two milch animals.
- The two milch animals must be Local Cows, Indigenous cows, Cross Bred cows, Local Buffaloes, or Improved Buffaloes.

- 100% subsidy shall be provided for dairy items of general use.
- The subsidy is subject to a maximum amount of โน30,000/- or the actual cost of the items, whichever is lower.
- The subsidy is a one-time assistance per family.

- Subsidy shall be directly credited to the beneficiaryโs bank account.
- In case of limited purchase of dairy items, proportionate subsidy shall be released.
- The Department will release the subsidy within 60 days of receiving the documents completed in all respects.
- The beneficiary must use the dairy equipments purchased for the development of their dairy unit.
- The beneficiary shall abide by the provision of the said scheme, and undertake to comply with the Pattern of Assistance of the scheme as contained in the scheme.
- The beneficiary must use the dairy equipments for a minimum period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase, subject to normal wear and tear.
- The beneficiary solemnly undertakes to refund the cost of the items if the items are found misutilised or missing.
- In case of breach of any clause, the Government is free to recover the subsidy released through any due benefits under other eligible schemes of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and/or under the land revenue code.

- Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed proforma .
- Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
- Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the local Veterinary Officer or Assistant Director .
- Step 4: The concerned local Veterinary Officer or Assistant Director shall scrutinize the application and verify the documents to ensure they are complete in all respects. The officer must then forward the application to the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Patto-Panaji, along with his or her recommendation, within 15 days of its receipt.
- Step 5: The application will undergo further processing at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services. The application will be approved by the Directorate if it is found to be in order based on the established scheme provisions.
- Step 1: On approval of the application, the beneficiary must purchase the dairy equipment. The beneficiary must then submit the original purchase receipts or bills to the local Assistant Director or Veterinary Officer, within 90 days of the application approval.
- Step 2: The bills will be verified by the concerned officer. Certification of the bills will be done only after an inspection of the purchased equipment has been carried out. The verified and certified documents are then submitted to the Head Office for the release of the subsidy amount.
- Step 3: On receiving the documents completed in all respects, the Department will release the approved subsidy. The subsidy will be released within 60 days of the completed documents being received and shall be directly credited to the beneficiaryโs bank account.
Financial Assistance to Dramatic Troupes participating in Kala Academyโs Annual Tiatr Competition
The scheme aims to encourage non-commercial dramatic troupes participating in Kala Academyโs Annual Tiatr Competition to produce higher quality Tiatrs. It provides financial support for various production aspects, video recording, and expert workshops, benefiting dramatic troupes.
๐ค Eligibility
- The applicant must be a dramatic troupe.
- The applicant must be participating in the Tiatr Competitions organized by Kala Academy.
- The applicant must fulfill the conditions laid down in the scheme as per the format enclosed.
- The applicant's Tiatr script will be scrutinized by a scrutiny committee who will submit a report on whether the Tiatr is as per the format.
- The applicant must ensure that one typed copy of the Tiatr script and one typed copy each of the lyrics of the songs are submitted to Tiatr Academy of Goa along with the application form.
- The applicant must ensure that handwritten copies of scripts and lyrics will not be accepted.
- The applicant's Tiatr, in any form either written or verbal, must not contain any adverse remarks against any Government/Individual/Institution, etc., or anything against oneโs caste, creed, and religion which may lead to hurting of religious sentiments of anybody.
- The applicant must compulsorily participate in workshops organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa by deputing at least one of the members of the troupe.

- For improving aspects of Tiatr production, including Direction, Stage Setting, Live Band Music with at least 2 blowing instruments, Light Effects, Background Music, Costumes, Make-up, and Transport.
- The extent of the financial support shall be fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa.
- Direct payment to the Institution based on submitted bills.
- Conditions
- *The troupe must compulsorily participate in workshops organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa by deputing at least one of its members; otherwise, they will not be entitled to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- *The Tiatr must not contain any adverse remark in any form, either written or verbal, against any Government/Individual/Institution, etc., or anything against oneโs caste, creed, and religion which may lead to hurting of religious sentiments; if proved so, Tiatr Academy of Goa reserves the right to disqualify the performance and refrain from making any payment or recall the payment if already made.
- *All advertisements, oral, print or electronic media, banners/standees, etc., must insert/publish and announce before the performance and during the interval that โThis Tiatr is staged in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goaโ.
- Tiatr Academy of Goa will video record the said Tiatr for its Library and other uses. One copy of the Digital Versatile Disc will be given to the Institution free of cost. To preserve the presentation of Tiatr for future generations.
- The dramatic troupe will have the freedom to use the Digital Versatile Disc in any manner, but cannot make use of the logo of Tiatr Academy of Goa on the said Digital Versatile Disc.
- *The videographer will be appointed by Tiatr Academy of Goa.
- Tiatr Academy of Goa will provide expertise to the troupes in the different compartments of Tiatr (Direction, Stage Setting, Live Band Music, Light Effects, Background Music, Costumes, Make-up, Transport) by organizing workshops in those aspects.
- Conditions
- *The troupe will have to compulsorily participate in these workshops by deputing at least one of the members of the troupe.

The Tiatr Academy of Goa reserves the right to disqualify the performance and recall or refrain from payment if any adverse remarks against Government/Individual/Institution, caste, creed, or religion are found.
- Step 2: Participate in Workshops
- The applicant troupe must compulsorily participate in workshops organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa by deputing at least one member to receive benefits. Failure to participate will result in ineligibility for the scheme's benefits.
- Step 3: Ensure Proper Public Announcement and Promotion
- The applicant must ensure that all advertisements, whether oral, print, or electronic media, banners, or standees, prominently include the statement: โThis Tiatr is staged in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goaโ. This announcement must also be made before the performance and during the interval.
- Step 4: Submit Financial Documents for Disbursement
- To receive financial assistance, the institution must submit original bills along with a statement of expenditure to the Tiatr Academy of Goa. Payments will be made directly to the Institution for services rendered, and service providers must provide receipts, with stamped receipts mandatory for amounts exceeding โน5,000/-.
Financial Assistance To Fishermen For Purchase of Fisheries Requisites (Gill Net/ River Gill Net with Accessories)
โFinancial Assistance To Fishermen For Purchase of Fisheries Requisitesโ is a scheme by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, a 50% subsidy is provided to the fishermen of Goa for the purchase of fisheries requisites (gill nets with accessories).

- The applicant should be a traditional fisherman by birth or profession.
- The applicant should be a resident of Goa.
- The applicant should or any of his households should not be defaulters with the Directorate of Fisheries.
- The applicant should possess their own registered fishing canoe.
- The original VAT bill may be submitted by the applicant from the authorized dealer to claim the subsidy.
- The applicant shall not sell, lease, or transfer the Gill Net for five years from the date of purchase of the first Gill Net.
- The fishing net shall be duly registered with the Directorate of Fisheries.

โFinancial Assistance to Mussel Culture and Oyster Farming in Goaโ is a scheme by the Dept. of Fisheries, Govt. of Goa. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to eligible fishermen for setting up units in estuarine waters, and in open sea. Only offline applications are accepted.

- The applicant should be a Fish Farmer/ Individual/ Registered Self Help Groups/ Societies/ Associations, interested in setting up the Mussel Culture/ Oyster Farming Unit in Goa.
- The applicant should be a resident of Goa for the last fifteen years.
- The applicant should have undergone a training programme on Mussel Culture/ Oyster Farming organized by the Fisheries Department/ MPEDA/ ICAR/ any other institute.

- Setting Up of Unit in Estuarine Waters
- 50% subsidy limited to โน 25,000 per unit, maximum for 2 units. Each unit in the estuarine water will be of size 4 meters x 4 meters.

Financial Assistance To Pre-primary School In Remote Areas
The scheme provides financial assistance to set up pre-primary schools in remote tribal areas, in the form of rent amount payable for the premises, fixed remuneration to one Teacher, one helper, teaching aid/equipment, toys, and mid-meal.
๐ค Eligibility
- There should not be a pre-primary school already existing in the locality.
- The school should have at least ten (10) Scheduled Tribe (ST) students in a class of twenty (20) students, to avail the benefit of one post of teacher and one post of Helper.
- Educational Qualification/Training for the Trained Teacher will be as per the eligibility requirements fixed by the Education Department for Primary Teachers/Pre-Primary Teachers.
- In case no trained teacher is available in that particular locality, the Government may consider the appointment of an untrained teacher. The untrained teacher shall obtain the necessary qualification within a period of 3 years.
- Agencies/ Individuals
- 1. Existing Primary Schools including Government Primary schools/ High Schools from the locality.
- 2. NGO with three years of experience in the line of managing pre-primary schools.
- 3. Trained teacher having experience in teaching pre-primary students.

- Remuneration of Trained Teacher
- Fixed Remuneration of โน 10,000/- per month for Trained Teacher (โน 8,000/- per month if the Teacher is untrained).
- Every year, an incremental rise of 10% to the remuneration of the trained Teacher, subject to satisfactory performance during the preceding year.
- One additional Teacher will be sanctioned in cases where the number of ST students exceeds 20 to form a separate class.
- Remuneration of the Helper
- The rate prescribed under the minimum wages Act and as revised by the Government under the Minimum Wages Act from time to time.
- One additional Helper will be sanctioned in cases where the number of ST students exceeds 20 to form a separate class.
- Mode of Disbursal
- The amount of benefit will be transferred electronically to the Bank Account of the beneficiaries.

The scheme โFinancial Assistance To Purchase Singel Net / Small Rampon Net & Its Accessoriesโ is a scheme by the Department of Fisheries, Government of Goa. Through this scheme, a 50% subsidy is provided to the fishermen of Goa for the purchase of Singel Net/ Small Rampon Net and its accessories.

- The applicant should be a traditional fisherman by birth or profession.
- The applicant should be a resident of Goa.
- The Fishermen should belong to the OBC (Kharvi) Community.
- The grandfather/grandmother of the fishermen should be resident(s) of Goa.
- The fishermen shall not possess registered fishing canoes or fishing trawlers.
- Only one household family member can avail of the benefit under this scheme.

The scheme has been introduced to uplift the sizeable community of traditional Fishermen, by providing them financial help in the form of subsidy on the construction/ purchase of Fishing Craft less than 26 feet for fishing in inland waters of Goa. The applications are accepted only in offline mode.

- Any dissatisfaction or complaint about any service or its standards can be registered with the Department's Grievance Redressal Officer . The grievance can also be lodged on the link dir-fish.goa@nic.in . All complaints will be acknowledged by us and final action taken will be communicated within 30 days.
Financial Assistance to Revive, Preserve and Protect Goan Maand Culture
The scheme โFinancial Assistance to Revive, Preserve and Protect Goan Maand Cultureโ by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa has been designed with the objective of encouraging Goan Folk artists to revive, preserve and protect the Goan Maand culture consisting of folk forms.
๐ค Eligibility
- The Maand group should have a legacy of practising folk art forms for at least the past thirty years at such a traditional Maand place.
- The applicants who desire to join training under this scheme shall not be less than 10 years of age. Whereas any old age folk artist in the course of training could share their experience and guide the new generation with kind co-operation from Maand Guru.
- Relaxation / Preference / Priority
- Preference will be given to those Goan Maand culture which are on the verge of extinction.
๐ Benefits
- Nature and Quantum of Assistance
- The honorarium to Maand Guru/Trainer shall be โน 9,000/- per month.
- The honorarium to the Assistant shall be โน 6,000/- per month.
- The stipend to trainees shall be โน 1,500/- per month. (Each Maand group may consist of at least thirty artists/trainees).
- Financial assistance of โน 50,000/- will be provided to purchase folk instruments (a list of the required musical instruments should be attached).
- Financial assistance of โน 40,000/- will be provided towards the upkeep of Maand culture (repairs of old musical instruments and Maand place).
- Financial assistance upto โน 60,000/- to purchase costumes and drapery for the performance.
- (The exact quantum will be decided by the committee of experts as per the requirement).
- Financial assistance of โน 25,000/- will be provided to upkeep and maintain the place of Maand. (daily cleaning and floor maintenance).
- [ NOTE: The Financial Assistance provided in point 4,5,6, and 7 above shall be for the duration of the training course.]

Financial Assistance to ST Students under "Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana"
Under the scheme "Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana", financial assistance of upto โน 15,000/- is provided to the Scheduled Tribe Students as the maintenance allowance given under the Post Matric Scholarship is inadequate to meet the expenses on food & travel.
๐ค Eligibility
- The applicant should be from a Scheduled Tribe (ST) in the State of Goa.
- The student should be a regular, full-time student studying in a recognized Institution / University.
- The applicant should have availed or should be eligible for Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship during the current Academic Year.
- The income of parents/guardians of the applicant should not exceed โน 5,00,000 per annum.
- NOTE: If a student has to repeat a class, he/she shall not be eligible to get a scholarship for a second time in the same class.

- An Additional Maintenance Allowance of โน 7,500/- to Day Scholars for 10 Months.
- An Additional Maintenance Allowance of โน 15,000/- to Hostellers for 10 Months.

- Step 2: Register yourself on the portal by providing your Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, and other details.
- Step 3: Sign In to the Portal using the credentials received on your Email ID / Mobile Number.
- Step 4: In the portal, browse the Online Application Form for "Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana".
- Step 5: In the Online Application Form, fill in all the mandatory details, upload the mandatory documents in the mentioned file type and filesize.
- Step 5: Click the "Submit" icon at the bottom to submit the form.
- Step 6: Upon successful submission of the application, a pop-up box will be displayed showing the Application Reference ID. The same will also be received over the Registered Email ID and the Registered Mobile Number. Save this Reference ID for future reference.
