"Advance for Purchase or Construction of House" is a Welfare Scheme by the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Dept of Labour and Employment, Goa. The worker registered with the Board is sanctioned financial assistance of upto โ‚น50,000 for the purchase/construction of a house.

โ‚น50,000/- is sanctioned as advance and shall be recovered in equal instalments as may be fixed by the Board.

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • The applicant should be a Worker registered with the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  • The worker should be between 18 to 60 years of age.
  • The worker should have completed ninety days of service as a registered worker in the year.
  • The applicant should have had membership in the Fund continuously for five years.
  • The applicant should have fifteen years of service for superannuation.

The scheme aims to attract youth towards dramatic activities and promote Goan culture through Konkani theatre. It provides cash awards, mementos, and certificates for best One-Act Play performances along with individual category awards for youth, clubs, and associations.

Cash awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best performances (amount as decided by Tiatr Academy of Goa).

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • The applicant must be an individual, club, or association.
  • The applicant must present a One-Act Play in Konkani language.
  • The applicant must ensure the play duration is not less than 35 minutes and not more than 45 minutes.
  • The applicant must ensure participation only when at least 5 groups are participating in the competition.

๐ŸŽ Benefits

  • Cash awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best performances (amount as decided by Tiatr Academy of Goa).
  • Mementos and certificates for top 3 performances.
  • Individual awards with mementos (no cash) for Direction, Male Actor, Female Actor, Background Music, Stage Setting, Light Effects, Make-up, and Script.

"Antya Sanskar Sahay Yojana" by the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa provides grants of financial assistance for the performance of funeral and religious ceremonies of Scheduled Tribe (ST) families.

The financial assistance under the scheme is up to โ‚น 20,000/- or the actual cost whichever is less.

  • The deceased or the applicant should be from a Scheduled Tribe Family.
  • The annual family income of the deceased or the applicant shall not exceed โ‚น 3,00,000.
  • Special Case
  • If the applicant is not from Scheduled Tribe, and the deceased is from Scheduled Tribe, then the applicant should establish the first relationship with the deceased person. The claim may be made within 12 months from the occurrence of death in the family of kin.

Ashraya Adhar Scheme

"Ashraya Adhar Scheme" is introduced to provide financial assistance in the form of loans to the members of Scheduled Tribes for the purpose of repair, renovation/reconstruction of houses. The Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation has introduced this scheme.

โ‚น 5,00,000/- advanced as financial assistance in the form of a loan @ 2% per annum.

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • Any person belonging to Scheduled Tribe Community and having his/her house (which shall also include a mundcarial house) either owned individually or jointly will be eligible for financial assistance under this scheme.
  • In case the house is owned jointly and there are different family units in the same house residing separately, each such unit will be eligible for financial support.
  • The age of the applicant should not be more than 55 years as of the date of the loan application. However, the age of the applicant is relaxed up to 58 years in case the applicant is an employee of the State/ Central Government/ Government Corporation/ Board or aided Institute.

๐ŸŽ Benefits

  • โ‚น 5,00,000/- advanced as financial assistance in the form of a loan @ 2% per annum.
  • Mode of Advance
  • The loan amount shall be advanced in two instalments after the submission of the required documents is complete in all respect.
  • โ‚น 3,75,000/- immediately after sanctioning the loan.
  • โ‚น 1,25,000/- on utilization of the first instalment. The 2nd instalment is to be released on submission of utilization bills and on the basis of physical verification/inspection carried out by the officer of the Corporation.
  • NOTE: Loanee shall commence the actual work within 03 months from the date of the sanctioned amount released.
  • Insurance
  • The beneficiary shall be insured for life and property with the Insurance Agency identified by the Corporation and the premium of such policies shall be borne by the loanee (unless and otherwise decided by the Corporation).

Assistance Towards Sugarcane Supplied By The Sugarcane Growers

The scheme aims to assist Sugarcane Growers to take up sugarcane cultivation in the State of Goa. It provides financial support to farmers cultivating sugarcane, paid based on actual tonnage supplied at the factory weighbridge as per the Fair & Remunerative Price.

Financial assistance is provided based on the Fair & Remunerative Price (FRP) fixed by the National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factories Limited, New Delhi, from time to time.

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a farmer.
  • The applicant must be cultivating sugarcane in Goa.
  • The applicant must possess a valid Krishi Card issued by the Directorate of Agriculture.
  • The applicant must ensure the sugarcane area is verified by the representatives of the Zonal Agriculture Office of the respective Taluka, along with the Fieldman of Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL).
  • The applicant must be issued an area certificate following verification of the sugarcane area.
  • The applicant must be present for the inspection of the harvested cane by the Fieldman of Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL) or any representative of the Agriculture Department.

  • Financial assistance is provided based on the Fair & Remunerative Price (FRP) fixed by the National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factories Limited, New Delhi, from time to time.
  • Farmers will be paid based on the actual tonnage of canes weighed at the Sugar factory weighbridge.
  • Conditions
  • The farmers must harvest and supply the sugarcane on their own to Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL).
  • The harvested cane must be loaded and brought to Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana, Dayanandnagar Dharbandora by the farmer on his own cost.
  • The farmer must duly sign the GAR 32 form, which is used in the submission process by Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana to the Zonal Agricultural Office.
  • The Government or Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana will not take any responsibility to harvest and transport the sugarcane.

  1. Step 1: Registration By Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL)
  2. The Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL) shall register the farmers cultivating sugarcane.
  3. Step 2: Harvest And Supply Of Sugarcane
  4. The farmer must harvest the sugarcane and supply it on their own to Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL), Dayanandnagar Dharbandora. The farmer must bear the cost for loading and bringing the harvested cane to the Karkhana.
  5. Verification and Sanction Process
  6. Step 3: Submission Of Supply Details
  7. The Sanjivani Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana (SSSKL) shall submit the details of the farmer who supplied cane, along with the weigh slips and the duly signed GAR 32 form of the farmer, to the respective Zonal Agricultural Office.
  8. Step 4: Verification And Recommendation By Zonal Agricultural Officer
  9. The Zonal Agricultural Officer shall verify the submitted details and forward the list with a recommendation to the respective District Agricultural Office.
  10. Step 5: Verification And Sanction Order Issuance
  11. The District Agricultural Officer shall verify the claims received and issue the Sanction Order after completing the verification process.
  12. The financial assistance shall be drawn and disbursed to the farmers by the respective Zonal Agricultural Officer, based on the Sanction Order issued by the respective District Agricultural Officer.

The scheme aims to popularize award winning tiatrs by organizing annual festivals in various Talukas of Goa. It provides financial remuneration to directors/producers of prize-winning tiatrs for staging performances.

Tiatr Academy of Goa Popular Tiatr winners: โ‚น40,000/- for each tiatr.

  • The applicant must be the director/producer of a tiatr that has won 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in any of the following competitions:
  • The applicant must be the director/producer of a tiatr that won 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in Tiatr Academy of Goa Popular Tiatr Competition.
  • The applicant must be the director/producer of a tiatr that won 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in Kala Academy Group 'A' tiatr Competition.
  • The applicant must be the director/producer of a tiatr that won 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in Kala Academy Group 'B' tiatr Competition.
  • The applicant must be the director/producer of a tiatr that won 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in Tiatr Academy of Goa Children's Tiatr Competition.
  • Post-Selection Conditions
  • Presentation of tiatr including kantaram should be done exactly the way it was presented in the respective competitions.
  • The tiatr should be shown without charging tickets.
  • Non-adherence to performance norms may result in withholding the payments.
  • Tiatr Academy of Goa may depute an observer to verify whether the performance is as per the norms.

Bhagwan Birsa Munda Lakshya Siddhi Yojana

The scheme provides financial assistance, in the form of a Scholarship, proportionate to the fees paid by Scheduled Tribe students at the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) level in order to take offline coaching assistance through reputed institutions for preparation for NEET & JEE.

Financial assistance for coaching fees for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) course, subject to a maximum limit of โ‚น3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only).

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe Community of Goa.
  • The applicant must have scored at least 65% in the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Board Examination.
  • The applicant must be a regular, full-time student studying in a Higher Secondary School.
  • The Higher Secondary School must be recognised by the Central/State Goa Board of Higher Secondary Education.
  • The applicant must apply for the benefit under the scheme in the XIth standard only.
  • The Coaching institute through which the student desires to take admission must be a registered body or run by any organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860/Companies Act, 2014, or any other relevant Act of the State.
  • The applicant must be precluded from availing benefits under any other coaching scheme of the Centre or the State Government.
  • The applicant must provide a declaration to the effect that they are not availing benefits under any other coaching scheme of the Centre or the State Government.
  • Selection shall be strictly done by drawing a merit list.
  • The merit list shall be drawn up for each course from the marks secured at the Goa Board/Central Board Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Examination among eligible students.
  • In case of two candidates having the same score for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) course, the score in the Science subject followed by the Mathematics subject shall be considered to decide the order of merit.
  • In case of two candidates having the same score for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) course, the score in the Mathematics subject followed by the Science subject shall be considered to decide the order of merit.
  • If students have secured equal marks in both the primary deciding subjects, then the score in English shall be considered for deciding the order of merit.
  • A waitlist of students beyond 150 for each course shall be drawn up.
  • If there are vacant slots after drawing the merit list, candidates shall be selected from those students who have applied for the other course, subject to a maximum total of 300 students seats.

๐ŸŽ Benefits

  • Financial assistance for coaching fees for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) course, subject to a maximum limit of โ‚น3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only).
  • Financial assistance for coaching fees for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) course, subject to a maximum limit of โ‚น3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only).
  • 100% of coaching fees shall be reimbursed to students whose family income is up to โ‚น8,00,000/- (Rupees eight lakhs) per annum.
  • 75% of coaching fees shall be reimbursed to students whose family income is above โ‚น8,00,000/- (Rupees eight lakhs) per annum, subject to the maximum limit.
  • If the course fee exceeds the admissible amount, the student has to arrange for the remaining funds from his/her own sources.
  • Duration: The benefit under the scheme shall be given for two years.
  • Mode of Payment: The course fee shall be released directly into the bank account of the students in two instalments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.
  • Frequency: Instalments are paid during the two-year course upon submission of fee receipts (First Installment in the XIth Standard and Second Installment in the XIIth Standard).
  • Advance Claim: If selected students have already paid registration, admission, or tuition fees in advance to the coaching institute for booking seats, they are eligible to claim such fees under the scheme, subject to the maximum benefit amount.
  • The applicant must submit the passing marksheet of the XIth standard; failing this, the scholarship will not be awarded for the XIIth standard.
  • The student shall attend at least 90% of the classes.
  • If the student remains absent for more than 15 days without any valid reason or leaves the coaching midway, the entire amount released to the student shall be recovered.
  • If the student opts out in the 2nd year (i.e., in the XIIth standard), the student shall refund the full amount released under the scheme within 30 days.
  • If any student furnishes any false information/documents and it is established as false, action shall be initiated for recovery of the amount released, with 15% compound interest thereon.

  1. Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form. Alternatively, the interested applicant should visit one of the following Offices and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the designated staff:

  4. Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
  5. Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the copies of the required documents.
  6. Step 1: The Director, Tribal Welfare, shall rest the entire power for scrutinizing the applications and sanctioning the benefits. A merit list shall be drawn up based on the marks secured in the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) among eligible students for selection.
  7. Step 2: Upon approval, the Director of Tribal Welfare shall convey the approval of sanction to the student and release the benefit. The coaching fees shall be reimbursed in two instalments, and the student must submit the required fee receipts for the release of the First Installment, which occurs in the XIth Standard.
  8. Step 3: For the release of the Second Installment, which occurs in the XIIth Standard, the student must submit the passing marksheet of the XIth standard, along with the required fee receipts and attendance certificate. The payments are made directly into the student's bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.

Bhajan Competition

The scheme "Bhajan Competition" is a Cultural scheme to preserve and promote the tradition of Bhajan singing. Competition is organized at the Regional level and the selected group from this competition will participate at the State Level. Entries are invited through local press notes.

  1. Step 1: The prescribed format of the application form is provided in the entries invited by the Kala Academy by releasing press note in local dailies.
  2. Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
  3. Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the Member Secretary, Kala Academy, Panaji, Goa .
  4. Authority for Redressal of Grievances: Member Secretary/ Chairman, Kala Academy, Goa.

The objective of the scheme is to provide knowledge of appropriate and traditional Bhajan Singing and Pakhawaj playing to Bhajan performers through experts from the respective field. Applications are invited by announcement in local print & electronic media. Certificates are awarded to participants.

  • For Trainee: The applicant should be a Bhajan performer.
  • For Workshop Conductor: The applicant should be an expert in traditional Bhajan Singing or Pakhawaj playing.

  • Knowledge of appropriate and traditional Bhajan Singing and Pakhawaj playing is provided to the Bhajan performers through experts from the respective field.
  • Certificates are awarded to the participants.
  • A suitable Honorarium is paid to conductors of workshops.
  • *The venue of the workshop is decided by Kala Academy.

Campus Recruitment Assistance Scheme

The objective and the scope of this scheme is to provide Campus Recruitment Assistance to the eligible IT Units in Goa. A recruitment assistance of โ‚น10,000 per Fresher will be provided to the Existing and New units that recruit through Campus recruitment from the educational institutes in Goa.

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • 1. All the new and existing units must have their operations in Goa.
  • 2. The applicant must be one of the below:
  • Proprietorship Firm
  • Private Limited Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (or equivalent)
  • Public Limited Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (or equivalent)
  • Registered Partnership Firm incorporated under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 (or equivalent)
  • Limited Liability Partnership incorporated under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (or equivalent)
  • 3. The bank accounts of the unit and/or its partner(s)/director(s) should be linked to Aadhaar.
  • 4. The bank accounts of Freshers should be linked to Aadhaar.
  • 5. The Fresher should be recruited through campus placement. The assistance becomes payable after the said Fresher completes at least 6 months of continuous employment.
  • 6. The Freshers should be recruited directly through campus placement from educational institutes in Goa during the operation of the policy.

๐ŸŽ Benefits

  • โ‚น 10,000 per Fresher will be provided to the units that recruit through Campus recruitment from the educational institutes located in Goa.
  • NOTE 1: The benefits under this scheme are subject to budgetary allocation. No Promissory Estoppel shall be applicable if benefits are discontinued in case the allocation is exceeded.
  • NOTE 2: The subsidy will be provided only for the Freshers recruited during the operation period of the Policy.

๐Ÿ“‹ How to Apply

  1. Step 1: Visit the Official Web Portal of Goa Online. At the top right corner, click " Register ".
  2. Step 2: On the next page, verify your Email ID and Mobile Number using OTP. You will be redirected to the Registration Page.
  3. Step 3: On the Registration Page, fill in all the mandatory fields of the registration form. Create a Login Name and a strong Password. Carefully read the Declaration and the Terms & Conditions, and tick the checkboxes. Fill in the Captcha Code, and click "Register/Signup".
  4. Step 4: Login to the website using your Login Name and Password. Fill in the Captcha Code, and click "Login".
  5. Step 5: In the top ribbon, click on "Services", then click on " IT Services ". Click on the name of the scheme. You will be taken to the application form for the scheme. Fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents.
  6. Step 6: Submit the application. A unique registration number will be generated. Note this number for future reference.
  7. NOTE: The applicant can apply for this scheme on a quarterly/bi-annually/annual basis after incurring the relevant expenditure.

  11. Application approval by the Empowered Committee: D+60 days
