Documentation And Research Assistantship Scheme

The scheme aims to encourage documentation and digitisation of valuable Tiatr-related materials to prevent their loss to posterity. It provides assistance and incentives to holders of such materials and pays honorarium to documentation assistants.

One-time Incentive: A reasonable amount as decided by Tiatr Academy of Goa will be paid to the holder for converting materials into electronic formats.

  • For Material Holders
  • The applicant must be a possessor of materials related to Tiatr such as manuscripts, photos, handbills, advertisements, newspaper or magazine clippings, video and audio recordings.
  • The applicant must indicate willingness to permit and facilitate documentation and organization tasks.
  • For Documentation Assistants
  • The applicant must be willing to serve as Documentation Assistant.
  • The applicant must be capable of performing tasks including compilation and organisation of materials, typing or word-processing of textual materials, scanning and converting by Optical Character Recognition, conversion of images by scanning or photographing with digital camera, and converting video or audio recordings from analogue to digital format.

  1. Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form. The form requires details including name of artiste or documentation assistant, complete address, contact number, email identification, Aadhaar Card number, and specific aspect of Tiatr on which documentation can be done.
  2. Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields including personal details, contact information, and specify the aspect of Tiatr on which documentation work can be undertaken. Attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.

  8. Tiatr Academy of Goa will assign documentation tasks to candidates according to the requests received from the holders of materials. The academy will match documentation assistants with appropriate holders based on proximity and requirements.
  9. Step 2: Work Execution and Certification
  10. Documentation assistants will perform assigned tasks including compilation, organization, digitisation, and conversion of materials under the supervision and certification of the material holder. The quality and progress of work will be periodically reviewed by Tiatr Academy of Goa.
  11. Step 3: Payment and Delivery
  12. Upon completion and certification of work, documentation assistants will receive honorarium payment on clock-hour basis as determined by Tiatr Academy of Goa. A copy of digitised material will be provided to the holder on Digital Versatile Disc or Pen-drive, while Tiatr Academy of Goa will retain a similar copy for its uses.

The scheme aims to encourage research work in the field of Tiatr and facilitate writers to take up research work in different aspects of Tiatr, its Song & Music. Research work will be published in book form with remuneration provided to researchers.

  • The applicant must be a researcher interested in writing books on tiatr after doing thorough research on the subject.
  • Preference will be given to any researcher who has already done research on any aspect of Tiatr, its Song & Music.

  • TAG will publish the research work in book form after thorough research on the subject.
  • The publication may be in English or Konkani (Roman Script).
  • TAG will print a minimum of 500 copies of the book.
  • 100 copies will be given to the writer.
  • The remaining copies will be used by TAG for various purposes.
  • Financial Benefits
  • The author/researcher will be given remuneration as fixed by TAG as per his/her experience for the research work undertaken.
  • Editorial Support
  • The manuscript approved by the Recommendation Board shall be edited by a member of Editorial Board.
  • Editing will include checking for spelling and orthography.
  • Conditions
  • *The manuscript received from the author/researcher will be considered for publication only after getting approval from the Recommendation Board appointed by TAG.
  • *The author/researcher will have to provide TAG, 3 (three) typed copies of the manuscript.
  • *If approved, the author/researcher will have to submit a soft copy of the manuscript on a Compact Disc/Digital Versatile Disc/pen drive.

  9. Step 2: Approval and Soft Copy Submission
  10. If the manuscript is approved by the Recommendation Board, submit a soft copy of the manuscript on a Compact Disc/Digital Versatile Disc/pen drive to the Tiatr Academy of Goa.
  11. Step 3: Editorial Process
  12. The approved manuscript will undergo editing by a member of the Editorial Board, which includes checking for spelling and orthography.
  13. Step 4: Publication and Remuneration
  14. Upon completion of the editorial process, TAG will proceed with printing a minimum of 500 copies of the book and provide remuneration to the author/researcher as per the fixed rates based on experience.

Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana - Coaching To Scheduled Tribe Student Studying In Class Xth, XIth & XIIth

The objective of the scheme is to impart coaching to ST students across Goa studying in classes Xth, XIth (Science), and XIIth (Arts, Science and Commerce). The scheme prepares the students for various professional courses such as Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Paramedical Sciences, Law, etc.

The student shall be reimbursed 75% of the fees paid (upto a ceiling of โ‚น 10,000/- per annum per subject in rural areas and โ‚น 12,000/- per annum per subject in urban areas) to the coaching institute upon submission of the fee receipt that is duly certified by the competent authority of the coaching institute.

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • The student shall belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category.
  • The Student shall be a regular, full-time student studying in a Government School/ Higher Secondary or in a school that is recognised by the Government of Goa or a Central/State Board of Higher Secondary Education.
  • The fees shall be reimbursed for a particular class in which the student is studying. In the event of a failure in a particular class and the student has to repeat the class, in such circumstances, the fees shall not be reimbursed for a second year.

๐ŸŽ Benefits

  • The student shall be reimbursed 75% of the fees paid (upto a ceiling of โ‚น 10,000/- per annum per subject in rural areas and โ‚น 12,000/- per annum per subject in urban areas) to the coaching institute upon submission of the fee receipt that is duly certified by the competent authority of the coaching institute.
  • 50% of the Fees: Reimbursed as a first instalment during the First Term of the Academic year upon submission of the fee receipt.
  • 25% of the Fees: Reimbursed as a second instalment upon the submission of the Attendance Certificate of the First Term.
  • Mode of Payment
  • The payment shall be done in the Direct Benefit Transfer mode upon submission of the fee receipt along with the fee structure duly certified by the competent authority of the coaching institute.

  1. Step 1: Visit the Office of the Director/ Deputy Director, Department of Tribal Welfare, Govt. of Goa, and request a physical copy of the proforma of the application form for the scheme from the Concerned Authority.

Employment Subsidy Scheme, 2017

The scheme aims to create an environment conducive for attracting investment in Goa, incentivise existing units, and boost local employment. It provides a subsidy based on the percentage of Goan employees hired, restricting reimbursement to โ‚น7,000/- per Goan employee per month.

Reimbursement shall be restricted to โ‚น7,000/- per Goan employee per month.

๐Ÿ‘ค Eligibility

  • The applicant must be classified as a Micro, Small, Medium, or Large manufacturing industry.
  • The applicant must be listed under the white category, green category, or orange category.
  • The applicant must engage a minimum of 60% of Goan manpower on regular employment.
  • The applicant must ensure the employees counted for the percentage calculation are employed on the enterpriseโ€™s payroll continuously during the claim year.
  • The applicant must ensure the Goan employees considered for subsidy calculation are up to 60 years of age.
  • The applicant must ensure the Goan employees considered for subsidy calculation are paid a gross salary of more than โ‚น8,000/- per month.
  • The applicant must ensure that the relations defined under section 56 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, are not counted as employees for the purpose of this scheme.
  • The applicant must not have availed of the Chief Ministerโ€™s Rojgar Yojana (CMRY) Scheme or any other employment generation scheme of the Government of India or the Government of Goa.
  • The applicant must not be taking or have taken any benefit under any policy of the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa.
  • The applicant must not have claimed similar benefit under any other scheme/program of the Government of Goa.
  • The applicant must submit the application for at least one claim to the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) during the scheme's validity (up to September 30, 2022).
  • The applicant must be a project of Hinterland Eco tourism in lesser developed talukas.
  • The applicant must be registered with/recognised by the Department of Tourism/Goa Investment Promotion Board (IPB)/Town & Country Planning/Planning & Development Authority (PDA)/Eco Sensitive Zone Authority.

๐ŸŽ Benefits

  • Reimbursement shall be restricted to โ‚น7,000/- per Goan employee per month.
  • The total subsidy for Micro, Small, Medium enterprises and eco-tourism projects shall not exceed โ‚น25,00,000/- per annum, on a pro rata basis depending on the date of production.
  • The total subsidy for Large enterprises shall not exceed โ‚น50,00,000/- per annum, on a pro rata basis depending on the date of production.
  • Subsidy is calculated based on the ratio of percentage of Goan employment, which provides a proportional increase from 60% benefit for 60% Goan employees, up to 100% benefit for 80% and above Goan employees.
  • For Micro, Small, Medium enterprises and eco-tourism projects, the total wages paid to Goan employees shall be restricted to 50% before applying the reimbursement ratio.
  • For Large enterprises, the total wages paid to Goan employees shall be restricted to 25% before applying the reimbursement ratio.
  • The benefits under this scheme are subject to budgetary allocation.
  • The period of grant of subsidy shall not exceed seven years.
  • The enterprise must allow and/or grant free access to any official authorized by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce for conducting inspection/supervision of the unit or the registers or holding discussions with the employed employees for ensuring proper utilisation of the financial incentives/subsidies granted by the State Government.
  • The enterprise must submit all necessary reports, information, and documents specified under the scheme or as required or directed by the Directorate of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC) from time to time or as and when required.

The scheme "Establishment of Integrated Educational Complexes" by the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa, aims to address the inadequate infrastructure and congested conditions faced by government-aided educational institutions in urban areas such as Panaji, Margao, and Mapusa within Goa.

Allotment of (approx.) 3000 to 6000 square meters of land for every school/institution for separate building(s) depending on the strength of the students. The same is leased out for 33 years.

  • Government-aided institutions in the city/town of Panaji/Margao/Mapusa located within 10 km. of the complex site and engaged in educational activities, if they so desire to shift from their present location due to the fact that their schools are presently functioning in areas that are congested and with insufficient infrastructure, may apply.
  • Existing Government educational institutions that have no or insufficient premises and are located within 10 km. of the proposed complex site may also apply.

  10. Price Negotiation, Book Purchase and Exhibition
  11. Step 1: If the book is approved, the price will be fixed as per Tiatr Academy Goa conditions, with Tiatr Academy Goa paying 80% of the agreed rate.
  12. Step 2: If Tiatr Academy Goa decides to purchase the books, the applicant will be informed in writing about the decision and further procedures.

  • The following entities owning land not less than 2,000 square meters within the Municipal jurisdiction shall be eligible for the benefit under this scheme:
  • (a) Local Municipal body;
  • (b) Schools, colleges, or such other institutions;
  • (c) Registered Sports Clubs;
  • (d) Registered Housing Societies;
  • (e) Other Registered bodies espousing the cause of Physical fitness and Sport:
  • Provided that an applicant whose land falls in any of the peripheral Panchayat jurisdiction may be considered eligible.

  1. Step 1: Submission of Application
  2. Fill out the Application Form (Annexure 1) with all required details, including the proposed facilities, justification, and business plan. Submit the completed application form to the Nodal Agency (Goa State Urban Development Agency) along with any supporting documents.
  3. Step 3: Scrutiny and Approval
  4. The Director of the Department of Urban Development will appoint a scrutiny committee to review the application.
  5. The scrutiny committee will recommend the case to the Nodal Officer, who, in consultation with the Chairman of the Nodal Agency, will approve the application for benefits under the scheme.
  6. Step 4: Signing the Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.)
  7. Once approved, the beneficiary must sign an M.O.U. with the Nodal Agency, outlining the terms and conditions for the development and maintenance of the facilities.
  8. Step 5: Implementation and Monitoring
  9. The Nodal Agency will draw up a feasibility report, design, build, and transfer the facilities to the beneficiary.
  10. *The beneficiary will be responsible for maintaining and operating the facilities, with periodic community impact studies conducted by the Nodal Agency.

"Family Pension (GBOCWWB)" is a Welfare Scheme by the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of the Dept of Labour and Employment, Goa. Through this scheme, in the event of the death of the pensioner of the Board, a 50% pension or โ‚น200, whichever is higher, is given to the spouse.

  • The applicant should have legal authority to represent the beneficiary in case of death or inability to claim.

  • *The applicant must submit the claim through proper medical channels with certification from authorized medical officers.

  2. Visit the health facility where sterilization was conducted and report the case of death, failure, or complication to the Medical Superintendent or Health Officer.
  3. Begin collecting all required documents including original sterilization certificates, case papers, identity documents, and bank details from relevant sources.
  4. Step 2: Form Completion and Medical Certification
  5. Complete Part A of the Claim Form cum Medical Certificate with accurate personal details, sterilization operation information, and nature of claim.
  6. Submit all medical records and completed Part A to the Chief Medical Officer or equivalent designated officer at district level for medical certification.
  7. Step 3: Application Submission
  8. Collect the medically certified claim form (Part A and Part B completed) from the certifying officer.
  9. Submit the complete application with all required original documents and photocopies to the respective health facility where sterilization was performed.
  10. Step 4: Follow-up and Verification
  11. Maintain regular contact with the health facility to track progress as the case moves through District Indemnity Scheme Committee review.
  12. Provide any additional information or documentation if requested during the committee verification process.
  13. Step 5: Payment Processing
  14. The District Committee forwards the verified case to the state office (State Health Society) for final approval and processing.
  15. Upon state approval, compensation amount is disbursed directly to the beneficiary's bank account as specified in the claim form.

"Fee Waiver Scheme for SC/ST Students Pursuing Higher Education" provides free access to every SC/ST student, to the institutions of higher learning so that that no eligible SC/ST students are deprived of higher education for want of resources.

A full waiver of the fees supposed to have been paid by them in the institutions where they have sought admissions.

  • The applicant should have been born in Goa or resident of Goa for at least last fifteen years.
  • The applicant should have passed his/her qualifying examination from any of the institutions located in Goa.
  • The applicant should belong to the SC/ST Community of Goa.
  • The applicant should be enrolled for the First Year of their Degree/PG Courses.

  • A full waiver of the fees supposed to have been paid by them in the institutions where they have sought admissions.
  • The amount fee waiver shall consist of Tuition fees, Library fees, Laboratory fees and Development fees, if any.
  • NOTE: All other charges and fees would be borne by the concerned student.
